Privacy Policy

This policy explains what Tweeqd collects, why, and who else touches it.Tweeqd is the data controller for the personal data described below.

What we collect

• Account details — email address, and your name if you provide one or sign in with Google.
• Resume content — the text extracted from the PDF you upload: contact details, work history, education, skills, and anything else your resume contains.
• Preferences — chosen template and accent colour.
• Payment records — order and payment identifiers, amount, and status. We never see or store your card number.
• Usage records — timestamps of extractions, used to enforce daily limits.

What happens to your PDF

We do not store the PDF file you upload. It is sent to our AI provider for extraction and held only in memory for the duration of that request. What we retain is the structured text extracted from it, which you can see and edit in the editor.

Please note that a resume typically contains personal data — your name, contact details, employment history, and sometimes more. Only upload documents you are comfortable processing this way.

Why we process it

• To provide the Service — extraction, editing, template rendering, export.
• To keep your resume available when you sign in on another device.
• To take payment and record what you have unlocked.
• To prevent abuse and control operating costs through usage limits.
• To respond when you contact support.

Our legal basis is performance of our contract with you, and our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and viable.

Who else processes your data

We rely on these sub-processors, and share only what each needs:

• Anthropic (AI extraction) — receives your uploaded PDF to convert it into structured fields.
• Supabase (authentication and database) — stores your account and extracted resume data.
• Razorpay (payments) — collects your payment details directly; they never pass through our servers.
• Google — only if you choose Google sign-in.
• Vercel — hosts the application.

Some of these operate outside India, so your data may be processed abroad under appropriate safeguards. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your resume content to train AI models.

How long we keep it

• Resume data and account details: until you delete your account.
• Payment records: retained as required by tax and accounting law.
• Usage records: rolling window sufficient to enforce daily limits.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to processing, or ask for a copy in portable form. Most of your resume data is directly editable in the app. For anything else, email hello@tweeqd.com and we will respond within 30 days.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary — they keep you signed in. We do not run advertising or third-party analytics cookies. Your template and accent choices are stored in your browser’s local storage, not on our servers.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Database access is restricted by row-level security so that one account cannot read another’s data. No system is perfectly secure, but we will notify affected users of a breach without undue delay.

Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

Updates appear here with a revised “last updated” date. Material changes will be notified by email where we hold one for you.
